Dr. Heidi Beery and her trusty sidekick Maisie of Roseburg is the latest Therapy Dog team to join Allure Therapy Dogs. Believe it or not, Maisie is a mix breed of Labrador and golden retriever. Macie, and Dr. Beery passed their Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog exam with “paws”itivly flying colors. The two of them seem to be inseparable, spending most of their time together seeing patients at Dr. Beery’s medical practice. (now that’s good medicine!) You might also see this dynamic duo at Mercy Medical Center occasionally as they often volunteer visiting with patients, staff and visitors. Next time you see them make sure you say congratulations on this accomplishment.
